Ping and Noodle - Character Design

Character design I did for a group project during my masters, MSc Animation and VFX. After a brief delivered from Beano Studios we got to redesign one of four characters from the company's earlier days and then make a 30 second animated episode with them. My group choose Ping, the elastic man, who had a short run back when the first Beano magazines were published. This character was a bit boring so we decided to give him a sidekick and thus Noodle the Ferret was born. He causes mischief and triggers Pings elastic powers when getting him into trouble.
This was part of our "Going Live" Module.
